Indianapolis Colts Win AFC South

The Tennessee Titans may be the hottest team in the AFC South right now with five straight wins with Vince Young back behind center, but Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts have officially won the AFC South and will once again cruise into the playoffs.

The Colts had a challenge ahead of them this weekend going up against the Houston Texans who were in desperate need of a win over their division rivals this weekend to stay in the AFC Wildcard race, but even though the Texans got out to quick start and looked like they were going to hand Peyton Manning and company their first loss of the season, the Colts came back from 17 points down to beat the Texans 35-27.

No matter who has stood in the Indianapolis Colts way this season, Peyton Manning and his boys in white and blue have been able to overcome and beat any all 11 opponents in their path this season.

An undefeated regular season is something that very few teams have been able to accomplish, but with the Colts favorable schedule remaining in the last five games I could easily see them going into the playoffs with a 16-0 record.

Even though I believe the Indianapolis Colts can go the distance in the regular season they will have two very tough games ahead them in consecutive weeks against the red hot Tennessee Titans in week 13 and the Denver Broncos in week 14.

Can the Colts go undefeated all the way up to the Super Bowl?

Yes, without a doubt in my mind I believe the Indianapolis Colts are good enough right now that they can make it to the Super Bowl untouched.

The one thing that will be more intriguing than anything in my opinion is whether or not Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints can do the same in the NFC. The Saints also have two games that will be very tough to get through to finish the regular season undefeated with their biggest challenge coming against the New England Patriots on Monday night football.

If the Saints can get passed the Patriots I don’t see any other team in the NFC beating them besides the Minnesota Vikings who they may or may not meet New Orleans in the playoffs. Even though I do believe the Saints will go undefeated for the regular season with a win over the New England, they will have their work cut out for them against the NFC East leading Dallas Cowboys in week 15.
