Last week, Scientific Games Corporation announced that they have gone into a contract with the Oklahoma Lottery Commission for Lottery Gaming Services.
This new contract involves providing lottery services to the commission, which include statewide communications and terminals. There would also be facilities like warehousing, instant ticket printing, distribution and additional lottery services.
This contract was provided to Scientific Games through a tough procurement procedure. It involves an initial one-year term and begins from August 9, 2013. It also includes an additional contract extension option of one year.
Pat McHugh, who is the Scientific Games’ president of the Lottery System for North American Region, was quite happy after getting the contract. He stated, “Oklahoma Lottery has been quite a valued customer, ever since it was launched in 2005. It is counted amongst the fastest implementations in the history of the industry. We are quite happy that we have got an opportunity to continue the successful partnership, which we have had thus far. With the new contract, we will be looking to contribute more to the Lottery Commission of the state.”
Rollo Redburn, who is the executive director of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission, said, “For eight years now, Scientific Games have been a wonderful partner to us. By continuing this relationship, we will be able to continue our focus on increasing our revenues. We can also work on our efficiencies for providing more money to the Oklahoma Education.”
