Orlando Magic go down in a disturbing 100-75 loss to the Los Angels Lakers on Thursday night in game 1 of the NBA Finals. Although the Lakers are favored, there was still some huge expectations for Dwight Howard to do his “magic” and keep game 1 close.

Kobe put up 40 points in another great game by him. But how will the Magic respond to such a crushing defeat to start the series? Guess we will see. The online sportsbooks are shuffling the odds now as it looks as if the Lakers are going to give Kobe his first championship without his old buddy Shaq.
