Recently, it was reported that both Amaya and Bally Technologies have signed a memorandum of understanding. This has been done for integrating their Ongame poker platform into Bally’s platform. It will also allow them to integrate other casino games as well into Bally’s iGaming platform.
This is a major agreement for Bally Technologies. It is going to allow them to proceed with the launch of the Nevada’s first intrastate internet poker website.
On June 2012, Bally was the first firm to receive the license to operate online gambling in Nevada State. On the same day, IGT, their major rival, received the license as well.
Even though Bally has the backend structure and experience in the field for making the most of their poker license, they never had the applications, with which they could offer an actual poker game.
With the introduction of Amaya’s Ongame poker platform, Bally will be able to fill up the one loophole, which was present in its path to offering online poker products in Nevada.
The best part about the deal with Amaya is that Ongame will only be a preferred poker provider for Bally. This means that Bally is not limited to Ongame only. In case they wish to be a partner of another software firm for providing multiple products, they are free for doing so.
