Penn National Gaming applies for casino license in Lawrence County

Lawrence County may be ready to have a new casino in its region, as Penn National Gaming is looking to set foot in the area.

It is believed that Penn National Gaming is all set to fund for building a Casino and Racing Resort in Lawrence Downs. Reports have it that the company has already applied for a casino license to operate in the county alongside Endeka Entertainment.

There is a belief that it is going to be a huge venture for Penn National Gaming, as this new casino will be home to 1,250 slots. Other than that, there would be 40 different gaming tables as well. Poker fans will be taken care of as well with 10 poker tables. There would also be a restaurant in the casino resort, which will serve different cuisines.

This move from the company might bring in a huge change, both for them and for the county. And with the possibility of the entire country coming under the online casino map, sometimes from now, having a casino in Pennsylvania will give a distinct advantage to Penn National Gaming, if the state legalizes online gambling one day.
