Things are going at a rapid pace in Delaware, as the State’s lottery office is intending towards awarding the contract of its internet gambling system by May 2013.
There are four aspects, which cover the RFP (Request for Proposal) for internet casino operations.
Providers of the foundation software of the casino: They will be providing the module for account management, payout system, network management system, reporting system, support service system and multi-level monitoring system.
Game Content Vendors: They will be providing the different variations of poker games as well as other online casino games like baccarat, blackjack, keno, bingo, and similar others.
Support Services’ Vendor: It deals with providing expert knowledge to make sure that the online casino has a safe and secure playing environment. They will cover area such as IP blocking, Geo-Location Tracker and Payment Processor.
Operation Management Vendor: They will manage every component of both online and land-based casinos, which includes payment handling, gaming ethics implementation and customer service. They will also look towards building measures for taking care of frauds and developing a responsible gambling environment.
There are a lot of firms, which have already submitted their proposals to the Delaware Lottery Office. The big names in the list include PokerStars, IGT, Bally Technologies, SHFL Entertainment and Scientific Games.
The most important point, which will be considered for evaluating the applicants, is going to be the firm’s timeliness. They are looking at providers, which would be able to test, deliver, install and get live by their desired date of September 30 of this year.
