Kickstarter has removed an internet casino game from their site, even though it was only placed there 4 days back.
Kickstarter is a site, which is dedicated for firms looking to have a startup capital. It has helped a number of projects to get funded, which include films, documentary, fashion, food and many others. However, they did not give out any reason for kicking out the concerned game.
The game in consideration over here was the Chumba World. Its creator described the game as the one having a combination of elements from Las Vegas, Second Life and Farmville. This game was supposed to be played on facebook.
Players, in this game, have the scope of building their own casino. Once it was done, they have to bring in more casinos through different methods. Based on the visitor count to the casino, the player had could earn real cash as well.
Spokesperson from the company told the press that the site has made a decision, but they are not going to make any comment on the same for privacy reasons.
According to the Terms of Use of the Site, Kickstarter has the right of suspending any project to which it is providing financial incentives.
