New Jersey might be looking to consider couple of applications for casino license. The unique thing about this move is that it is going to signal a change in the strict approach, which they had till now.
At this moment, the two casinos, which are looking for a license in the casino, include MGM International and Rational Group. Of the two, the later is looking to buy the struggling Atlantic Club Casino.
It is believed by many experts that the current economic struggle of the state is going to play a major role in the decision of the Casino Control Commission for considering both the applicants. Hysterically, the board might have not been so lenient with the applicants. There would have been chances of the application getting rejected. However, there are high chances that these two applications will be looked upon as an opportunity to work upon the finances of the state.
Meanwhile, Tuesday is going to be a big day for New Hampshire, as it will be the day on which SB152, the expanded gambling bill, will have its first hearing.
This bill is going to permit one casino with a license to operate in the state for a period of 10 years.
According to the information received, this move is made by the state in an attempt for stemming the loss in revenue to other states in the neighboring area.
