PokerStars might change the face of US gambling industry

If PokerStars deal of purchasing Atlantic Club Casino goes through, it might be the start of a lot of good things for the casino industry.

It is believed by experts that online gambling companies are going to get inspired by this move. And they might start trying to venture into deals with land-based casinos in the US states, where internet gambling has been made legal.

Eric Hollreiser, who is the spokesperson for PokerStars, said, “The future of the gambling industry will be based on the expertise from both the offline and online market. Our business strategy is going to help online casino players to come to casinos for playing casino games. Again, we will remind visitors that casino experience will not end, once they leave our premises. Rather, it can go on and on, as they will have the option of playing our games at home as well.”

According to him, this has been the strategy, which the company has been following for years now. It has helped the firm in driving traffic from its online tournaments to most of its major casino partners located across the world. And the best part is that the traffic is going to run both ways and new audiences will be introduced almost all the times.
