The Pick jackpot got picked up by Glendale couple

Arizona Lottery was very proud to announce the winner of their USD 6.7-million jackpot.

The jackpot amount of ‘The Pick’, which was drawn last week, has finally come forward. It is the biggest jackpot, which the game has dished out since April 2010.

Glendale’s Terry and Cheri Westergard were going to their home after having a meal at some random restaurant, when they stopped by the Circle K for purchasing ice.

Terry told Cheri to get the “Pick” and “Powerball” Ticket as well from the counter. And the next day, things changed amazingly well for them.

While checking the newspaper, they found out that they were in the possession of the winning “The Pick” ticket.

Karen Bach, who is the director of communications, products and budget for Arizona Lottery, said, “Our staffs were quite thrilled while presenting the highest jackpot amount for The Pick since 2010 to such an amazing couple. It feels so good to have a winner from our state, as it is Arizona’s own jackpot.”

The Westergards have opted for taking the cash option of USD 4,502,356.40. They were also thrilled with the winning. They haven’t decided on what they will do with the money, but a lot would be on the cards in the coming days.
