Bobby Moak, Mississippi State Representative, introduced the Bill Number 254, which is also referred to as the 2013 Mississippi Lawful Internet Gaming Act, for online gaming law. This bill has a lot of similarity with the one, which got released during last term. It will help in legalizing all forms of online casino games, which include slots, poker and video poker alongside numerous other table games.
The companies, which would be eligible to receive a license for operating the sites in Mississippi, will be the ones having and operating 30 casinos in the state.
Online casino games, according to the bill, are only going to be accessible to player, who falls in the age bracket of 21 years or above. Again, they must reside in a physical address inside of the Mississippi state. For proving their age and location, players will have to produce identity proof. The players would also be asked to agree on all the terms and conditions of the online casino in concern. They will be asked to provide two identities for playing the casino games there. The process of providing the identity proof could be done online as well. Players, who are excluded from the casinos, whether they got banned or voluntarily omitted out, will not receive permission for participating in online games anymore.
Employees of the online casino will not have the permission for playing at the online casino operated by their own company. However, they will be allowed to play at the ones, which do not have them as employees.
